What you will need 1 pair of scissors 1 black marker 6-8 infrared led lights Solder gun and solder 2 three volt button cell batteries 1 roll of electrical tape Wires Sheets of theatrical photo gels 1 Congo blue and 1 primary red 1 pair of safety glasses 1 tube of plastic cement How to make NVG 1) Take your glasses and trace the shape of you glasses onto the theatrical photo gels. You should have two blue and two red outlines 2) Cut out the outlines 3) Secure the red gels to the glasses first using the plastic cement. BE SURE TO APPLY PLASTIC CEMENT AROUND EDGE OF GLASSES AND NOT ON!!!!!! 4) Apply the blue gels over the red ones next. BE SURE TO APPLY PLASTIC CEMENT AROUND EDGE OF GLASSES AND NOT ON!!!!!! 5) Now solder the LED lights in even groups to the wires. You should have two pairs of LED lights once you are done and two wires sticking out of the back end. 6) Now you use the plastic cement again to secure your LEDs to the glasses. PUT ON THE EDGE!!!!!! 7) Secure your wires to the frame of the glasses with electrical tape 8) Now secure your batteries to the frame using the electrical tape. Remember that batteries run out of power so you want to leave one wire out but have the tape wrapped where you can slid that wire back in when you need to use you NVGs Q> How does this work? A> The gels allow you to see the light that is not visible to the naked eye. link to the site where i got this www.metacafe.com/watch/2071116/h ... n_glasses/
